Ships today
- Greenfield hub install via
install-hub.sh/hub-install.yml - Registry sites and FleetClusterJoin clusters from the console or flow playbooks
- DCM catalog placement with k8s / helm / OLM / kubevirt service providers (demo items seeded; richer apps optional)
- Console Import Helm chart from OCI registries (Harbor, docker.io, quay.io, ghcr.io) into catalog items
- fleet-edge routing (hub / site / none; API-only dual) and optional ACME + Authelia
- Org RBAC on the fleet console; optional hub LLM proxy
- Instance backup/restore API — under testing and unstable (do not rely on it)
Explicitly TBD
- Active–active multi-cluster serving behind one hostname (today: active–backup / standby failover)
- Nested workload clusters via KubeVirt + K3s on hypervisor parents (use FleetClusterJoin on VMs today)
- Productized multi-cloud automation beyond the reference Ansible + console path
- Hub-independent day-2 operation after cluster detach (intent only)
- Bootstrap-ready full app catalog as a finished product
Where to follow work
Source of truth for behavior is the umkim repository and the docs site. Version pins live in the repo VERSIONS.md.
